Welcome to The Building & Realty Institute!

The Building & Realty Institute is one the largest construction, development and real estate-related industry trade associations in New York State.

Founded in 1946, the Westchester County, NY based organization has more than 1500 members, primarily in the Westchester/Mid-Hudson Valley region of the state.

The BRI is supported by a multi-talented professional and consultant staff versed in all facets of the building industry: planning, engineering, law, insurance, environmental regulations and governmental relations on a state, county and local level. Our services extend to all facets of the Building and Realty industries.

Request for Bid Proposals: Property Improvement Program (PIP)

The Westchester County Department of Planning, Division of Housing, is requesting Bid proposals from builders and contractors to bid on, and perform, the home improvement work outlined in the attached Bid Package authorized by, and on behalf, of the property owner.

Westchester County Bid packages will be put up as they are ready, so they could be any day of the week, several in one week, or none in a week. Mostly the specs are for 1-4 family houses, but occasionally, they are for larger buildings. Generally, at least two weeks' turnaround time allowed for bids to be due.
