BUILDER COUNCILS

The Homebuilders Advisory Council of Northern Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties (HBAC) - There are many issues affecting homebuilders and developers in the Westchester and Mid-Hudson Region. The Homebuilders Advisory Council, in conjunction with the Builders Institute (BI), its base organization, addresses those topics.

Whether it's dealing with local, state or county governments, relationships with sub-contractors, suppliers and/or professionals, or the complicated aspects industry members face in our region, the HBAC consistently works for its membership.

The HBAC, in coordination with the BI, focuses on land-use, planning, building codes and dealings with state regulatory agencies.

Industry members involved in the building of homes, apartments or condominiums, or the sub-division of land in Putnam, Northern Westchester and Dutchess, look toward the HBAC.

Those interested in membership should complete Application #1.

The Commercial Builders Advisory Council (CBAC) - Commercial developers/builders and property owners/managers face a series of complex topics. The CBAC helps analyze those issues. It is your voice.

Membership in the CBAC entitles industry representatives to emphasize their concerns on those matters. Whether the issues are from a development or management perspective, the CBAC - in conjunction with its parent organization - the Builders Institute (BI)/Building and Realty Institute (BRI) - is there for industry members.

The CBAC specializes in land-use, building codes and dealings with state regulatory agencies. The association also monitors developments on finance and credit topics, environmental issues, taxes and building security.

Those interested in membership should complete Application #1.
