The Cooperative and Condominium Advisory Council (CCAC)

Don't miss our general membership dinner meetings!

If your co-op or condo is a member of the CCAC, attendance at these informative dinner meetings is included in your annual membership dues. You may send up to three representatives to each meeting, as well as to the meetings of any of the other BRI groups.

You will hear knowledgeable speakers and panelists addressing timely issues that are facing your co-op or condo today.

You will meet board members from other co-ops and condos to share ideas. You will hear early advisories and updates from our executive staff and professional advisors on proposed legislation affecting your co-op or condo and learn how you can take action.

In conjunction with other BRI groups, the CCAC has successfully opposed recent county and state legislation, such as:

• Source of Income, which would have made it a civil rights violation for admission committees to take into consideration how potential shareholders derive their income

• Tax Assessment Ratio legislation, which would change the status of co-ops, dramatically increasing your property taxes.
