Join us for our annual Advisory Council of Managing Agents (ACMA) Membership Lunch on Monday, June 5. Our topic will be:
“What’s Driving Rising Insurance Premiums, and What to Do (and Not Do!) About It”
Co-op boards, condo associations, property owners, and anyone involved in the habitational real estate market has already seen the surprisingly big increases in insurance premiums for workers compensation, general liability, and other types of coverage. Between increasing building replacement costs, fewer choices among umbrella policy carriers, a continued focus on contractors’ insurance, and new market factors that have come to a head over the past 1 to 2 years, some have said this could be the most challenging market for insurance since the aftermath of 9/11.
Jason C. Schiciano, CPIA, President of Levitt-Fuirst Associates, Ltd. will walk you through the underlying math and market factors driving the costs of insurance, and give you a sense of what your clients should and absolutely should NOT do in order to manage this challenging time.
Although the content of this meeting is geared toward managing agents, at the BRI, our motto is “A member of one is a member of all!” You are welcome to attend this meeting whether or not you yourself are a managing agent.
