AOAC Membership Luncheon: “Navigating Rising Costs for Insurance, Energy, and Property Taxes”
123 North St
Harrison, NY 10528
Join us for our annual Apartment Owners Advisory Council Membership Meeting!
Our Topic Will Be: “Navigating Rising Costs for Insurance, Energy, and Property Taxes”
At a time when lawmakers and regulations are seeking to curb rents and property revenues in the name of affordability, property owners are finding that the major cost drivers for operating and maintaining multifamily housing have kicked into overdrive. Insurance continues to skyrocket through a combination of national and international trends, including the impacts of extreme weather events. Energy bills continue to rise, even when the property has become more energy efficient, through dramatically increasing delivery fees. Of course, Westchester County continues to have some of the highest property taxes in the nation.
What are the trends on the horizon? And what can you do with your property to insulate yourself from some of these escalating costs?
We’ll begin with informal networking and lunch at 12:00 Noon.
The main program will begin at 12:45 PM.
