Our Topic Will Be “25 Years After 9/11”

This year marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11, a day of profound meaning and remembrance for our nation and the Greater New York City region. A total of 111 Westchester County residents (along with 12 former residents) lost their lives in the terrorist attacks, and since that time a number of Westchester residents have died from 9/11-related illnesses.

For our September General Membership Meeting, we’ll hear from three of local leaders about the deeply personal work they have done to ensure that “Never Forget” is more than a slogan, and how they have volunteered their time to remember and honor the lives lost and help our community move forward with values of respect, service, and compassion.

Speakers:

  • Rob Perretta, owner of opens in a new windowWalk Your Plans News York and founding member of the Visionary Leadership Council for the 9/11 Memorial & Museum
  • Robert Stanziale, Architect, P.C. and volunteer for the 9/11 Memorial & Museum
