The Building & Realty Institute Named One of New York’s Top Trade Associations for Second Consecutive Year
(ARMONK, NY) The Building & Realty Institute of the Hudson Valley (BRI) has been named one of opens in a new windowNew York’s Top Trade Associations by City & State New York for the second consecutive year, recognizing the organization’s leadership, advocacy, community engagement and contributions to the real estate, housing and building industries.
The recognition comes as the BRI celebrates its 80th anniversary and represents more than 1,100 members across the Hudson Valley, including homebuilders, developers, remodelers, contractors, subcontractors, landlords, property managers, co-op and condo boards, and suppliers and service providers.
City & State highlighted the BRI’s longstanding advocacy for pro-housing policies and its work to reform the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA), including efforts to streamline approvals for small- and medium-sized housing developments, adaptive reuse projects and infill development.

City & State also recognized the BRI’s support for Gov. Kathy Hochul’s “Let Them Build” agenda and its efforts to advance policies that expand housing opportunities, encourage responsible growth and reduce unnecessary delays in the development process.
For eight decades, the BRI has served as a leading voice for the region’s building, real estate and development industries through advocacy, education, networking and industry leadership.
