Member Spotlight Series: How Kaitlyn Phillips Is Shaping the Future of Construction
Continuing our Member Spotlight Series, we’re proud to feature Kaitlyn Phillips—Vice President of E.J. York, Inc., Chair of BRI’s Young Professionals in Construction group, and a rising leader helping shape the future of the construction industry.
Kaitlyn Phillips is the Vice President of E.J. York, Inc., where she plays a key role in overseeing the company’s operations, financial management, human resources, and client relations. Since joining the firm, she has grown through multiple roles, starting as an intern, working her way through office and project management, and now serving in executive leadership.
Kaitlyn’s day-to-day responsibilities span accounting and financial reporting, contract administration, insurance and compliance, and project coordination. She also leads business development efforts, serving as a primary point of contact for new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing partners.
In addition to her work at E.J. York, Kaitlyn is actively involved in several professional and community-based organizations. She serves as Chair of the BRI’s Young Professionals in Construction group, where she helps create opportunities for emerging industry leaders and foster the next generation of professionals in the construction industry. She is also an active member of the Building and Allied Construction Industries of Westchester (BACI), further demonstrating her commitment to advancing the region’s construction industry.
She is also co-chair of The Bronx Chamber of Commerce’s Membership Committee, where she contributes to economic development and business engagement throughout the Bronx. Outside of E.J. York, she serves as Chair of the Emerging Leaders Board for 914Cares, where she is committed to advancing the organization’s mission and supporting its initiatives.
In recognition of her leadership and professional accomplishments, Kaitlyn was recently selected to 2026 Rising Stars – 40 Under 40 by The Business Council of Westchester, honoring the region’s most promising young professionals.
Kaitlyn currently resides in the Bronx and remains passionate about growing E.J. York and the communities she is part of, both personally and professionally. When not in the office or attending industry events, Kaitlyn enjoys exploring new restaurants, searching for the best happy hour in town, and spending time with her bulldog, Reign.
