invite you to a networking event and panel discussion:
“Where Housing Happens Next: Westchester’s 2026 Construction & Rehab Hotspots”
The Westchester Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (WHCC) in partnership with The Building & Realty Institute (BRI) will be hosting our fourth Panel Discussion and Networking event for contractors, sub-contractors, and businesses involved in the homebuilding, remodeling, and development industry.
We’ll begin with a thought-provoking and informative panel discussion at LOOK Dine-In Cinemas. Enjoy popcorn and soda for this special presentation to help spotlight the Westchester cities, towns, and villages that are the greatest opportunities for housing construction and rehabilitation work in 2026. Then, move next door to Mirabella Cocina Latina and enjoy appetizers, beverages, and making new connections at our networking reception!
Thanks to the efforts of Westchester County Government, nonprofits like United Way, advocacy campaigns like Welcome Home Westchester, and stakeholders within the community, we have a lot of data about what the housing needs are for Westchester County — particularly among the Hispanic community — what communities have taken steps to be part of the solution to the housing shortage, and where new projects for affordable housing or rehabilitation have already been funded in part by Westchester County. Each of these pieces can help homebuilders, remodelers, and contractors figure out what communities they ought to be marketing themselves in.
Panelists will include:
Commissioner Blanca Lopez, Westchester County Planning Department
Tom Gabriel, President and CEO of United Way of Westchester and Putnam
Sarah Tavares, Campaign Organizer for Welcome Home Westchester
