Member Spotlight Series: Mary Millan’s Journey From Resident to Respected Co-op Treasurer
Our Member Spotlight Series continues with Mary Millan, a dedicated CCAC member and recently retired Treasurer of Bronxville Gardens Cooperative Apartments.
Mary Millan has been a resident of Bronxville Gardens Cooperative Apartments for over 20 years. She served as Treasurer of the Board for approximately 15 years and, although she recently stepped down, she continues to assist with the transition of new Board members and provides guidance on the history of key financial procedures and policies.
Mary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a background that proved especially valuable in her role as Treasurer. While she acknowledges that serving on the Board comes with significant responsibility and effort, she has always believed in the importance of being actively involved in the stewardship of what is often one’s greatest asset—one’s home.
